We are pleased to announce the acquisition of a new customer: Pinalli, a company specialized in retail of perfumes, cosmetics and healthcare products.

Founded in 1984 in Fiorenzuola d’Arda, in the province of Piacenza, Pinalli has one of the most advanced e-commerce platforms specialized in luxury BPC products in Italy which supplements with a chain of 67 beauty stores that make Pinalli a complete omnichannel player offering to the customer a fully connected experience between physical and digital.


Pinalli is among the few exclusive distributors in Italy of the main classic luxury brands and has become the reference partner for many highly innovative indie brands.


Pinalli logistics is managed completely in-house relying in a advanced warehouse that ensure an effective control and an integrated service along the entire distribution chain.


Pinalli has chosen the sedApta solutions to support the implementation of a new synchronized planning and distribution process, with final objective of improving the service level in stores, with special focus to the main peak periods (e.g. Black Friday). The project has two main streams. The first project stream aims to calculate the right quantities to be purchased from different suppliers, starting from a statistical forecasting and a collaborative demand and promotion planning process on mid-long term horizon, and calculating the aligned purchase plan based on target inventory targets. The second project stream aims to optimize the store replenishment process in short-term horizon, enabling the automatic store replenishment with “pull” logics based on actual sales. The project will require the implementation of Demand Management, DRP, Inventory Management and Promise  modules of the sedApta suite.
